Our practice was introduced to Tim and Colette Marshall of A+ Computer
Fix in September of 2006 by recommendation of another doctor who had
successfully taken his practice to the electronic ‘nirvana’, paperless.
We had so many problems with previous software and software/hardware
compatibility that the prospect of integrating new, more advanced
imaging and digital radiology software, more complete database software
i.e. information retrieval, scheduling, document integration for each of
our tens of thousands of patients and paperless treatment charting,
which had medical/legal implications was more than confusing and scary.
We had statutory regulations regarding document accessibility, privacy,
accuracy and storage to address to stay compliant with the law.
The Marshalls presented a comprehensive action plan to implement the
software conversion and it’s safeguards and augment the hardware as
needed to meet or exceed software specifications. They were in constant
communication with our software support during the installations and
continued during the weeks of follow up ironing out all electronic
conflicts and maintaining excellent relations with the sometimes unable
support staff at software central. As software upgrades are received and
new problems come up the Marshalls ‘fix it fast’. All this is
accomplished without an iota of our doctor’s personal attention.
After the successful implementation of the software conversion we asked
the Marshalls to address other computer and electronic related issues
our practice deals with. For added security they set us up with off-site
data storage, instituted cross network backups and well as the tape
backup we had already, set us up with a major industry web host and
reset up our website to optimize search positions and editing as needed.
When Tim responds to our calls he is all business and wastes no time.
‘What is going wrong?’ ‘I’m done’. When he says he has to get a part and
he’ll return, it’s promptly.
He has frequently talked us through a fix by telephone when he feels
it’s minor. Our doctor has called him from doctor’s vacation when he had
a problem with his laptop unrelated to business.
Previous to our relations with A+ Computer Fix the computer component of
practice was one of the most frustrating parts of practice. When the
computers were down we felt paralyzed. Now, the computers don’t go down.
When there’s a glitch, there’s A+ Computer Fix and the glitch is taken
care of.
We could not endorse any company or people more than A+ Computer Fix and
the Marshalls. Please feel free to contact us regarding their services.
